The client

Mr. Raffaele Fusco is a leading specialist for those suffering from hair loss. Since 1986, he has performed over 20.000 artificial hair implants (click here to learn more!), becoming the foremost European expert in synthetic hair implantation. His clientele includes some of the world's most famous figures from the entertainment, cultural and sporting worlds, as well as many everyday men and women from all walks of life who are now able to lead more confident and fulfilling lives thanks to artificial hair implants.
Mr. Raffaele Fusco came to me for advice on how to take his website to the next level.

The challenge

Mr. Fusco had a website that served as the primary channel for engaging potential patients. It was the only platform where users could access information and contact the doctor directly.
However, the website had several limitations, including:
  • A template-based layout that limited the presentation of content
  • Poor responsive design, particularly on mobile devices
  • Indexing issues due to an ineffective SEO strategy
  • Inconsistent brand identity
  • A complete lack of data tracking

The solution

Together with the client, we decided to develop a brand new website that would address all of the previously identified issues. This required the creation of a comprehensive strategy that took into account multiple aspects, including SEO, branding, UX and UI.

The first priority was to integrate Google Analytics into the old site to track user traffic and behavior, and to create a historical data set for strategic analysis.

Next, we redesigned the site architecture to reorganize content in a structured, user-friendly manner. Content was also reworked to include SEO-friendly keywords.

The brand identity was refreshed with modern gradients, updated imagery, a new tone of voice and a redesigned logo. The aim was to reflect Dr Fusco's values through the brand, inspiring trust and simplicity.

The website was designed in Figma and developed on the low-code platform Webflow.
Finally, tracking tools like Google Analytics and Hotjar were integrated to analyze user behavior and improve performance.

Results in numbers

Thanks to the analysis of data collected through Google Analytics, it was possible to establish growth metrics compared to the previous version of the website. The data showed significant increases, starting with conversions, which were the client’s primary objective.

In-depth focus

Blog development to drive website traffic

As part of the website design and development project, I created a strategically designed blog section to drive organic traffic and attract an audience interested in hair loss treatments and artificial hair implants.

This section was designed to provide high quality informative content, insights into innovative techniques, useful tips and updates on the latest industry trends. The main objective was to establish the website as a trusted authority, improve search engine visibility and effectively answer users' questions and curiosities.

With an intuitive design and SEO-friendly structure, the blog improves readability and encourages interaction, building trust and engagement with the target audience.
